NATE Certification for HVAC Technicians
The North American Technician Excellence (NATE) is the largest, non profit organization which tests and certifies HVAC technicians. This ensures technicians have the knowledge and skills required in this industry.
This certification offers HVAC consumers confidence in knowing these certified technicians are properly trained and proficient with the equipment they service:
There are four testing levels that NATE certifies. Levels:
Technicians must recertify every two years to ensure they are up to date on evolving technology. NATE recertification requires sixteen hours of ongoing continuing education hours or retesting in order to comply.

Technicians are trained and tested then third party certified. They must participate in ongoing training and certification to prove they meet or exceed industry standards.
